Take on a crucial role as a Pathologist Assistant in the Pathology Department at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. This part-time chance involves essential duties related to specimen examination and processing. In this position, you will perform gross examinations, assist in post-mortem analysis, and ensure proper handling and storage of tissue specimens.

Teaching new staff and engaging with medical residents form a critical part of this role, emphasizing your effective communication skills. You will also contribute to the maintenance of procedure manuals and quality management initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct gross examination of all tissue types
- Assist in and setup post-mortem examinations
- Engage in specimen photography for documentation

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Pathologist Assistance or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in pathology setting
- Certification from recognized pathology council desired
