As a Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Broker, you will be one of the first points of contact for many insured clients. You understand the importance of listening carefully, identifying your clients’ needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their specific situations.

You are recognized for your excellent customer service, your ability to negotiate with different insurers and your solution-oriented approach? You also enjoy identifying new sales opportunities and building strong, long-term relationships with your clients?

Our client is a Property & Casualty insurance brokerage that has been in business for approximately ten years, serving both personal and commercial clients. As the firm continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced insurance professional to join their dynamic Customer Service team.

What can you expect?

- Base salary starting at $65,000 per year and up , depending on experience
- Annual bonus of up to $2,000
- 100% remote position
- 37.5-hour work week , Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Potential opportunity to work 4 days per week
- 2 weeks of vacation or more , depending on experience

What will your day-to-day look like?

- Answer incoming calls from insured clients and assist them with their requests




- Process policy changes and update client files
- Provide quotes and pricing while offering professional advice to insured clients
- Manage renewals and contribute to client retention
- Prepare quotes and handle new business opportunities as needed
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities and recommend products suited to clients’ needs
- Negotiate with different insurers to find the best solutions for clients
- Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive client experience
- Use sound judgment to determine when to provide assistance, offer solutions or escrow an issue when necessary

What do you bring?

- You hold a valid AMF licence in Personal Lines Property & Casualty Insurance — mandatory
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Insurance Broker
- You are recognized for your negotiation and persuasion skills
- You enjoy providing excellent customer service and are comfortable with new business sales
- You communicate clearly and effectively
- You are client-focused, action-oriented and solution-driven
- You have a strong sense of service, support and escalation
- You are energetic, empathetic and able to make clients feel comfortable
- You are autonomous while also being a strong team player
- You take pride in building trusted, long-term relationships with insured clients
