Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with nutritional needs, including meal preparation and feeding.
- Monitor the client's health conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.




- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with mobility and exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare staff to develop individual care plans.

Requirements

- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Must have a valid certification as a Personal Support Worker.
- Must have a Transparent Vulnerable Sector Check report.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a Dementia Care is an asset but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Good to have a Valid driver's license, and access to a vehicle is an asset.
