You will work under the guidance of the Supervisor and De-Ice Coordinator, primarily responsible for the operation of de-ice trucks. This position requires effective communication with pilots and staff, along with preparing detailed spray reports and tracking fluid usage. A mechanical inclination to diagnose vehicle issues and a proactive approach to planning for weather are essential skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate de-ice trucks efficiently and safely
• Prepare and maintain detailed fluid usage reports
• Communicate information to pilots and staff clearly
• Assist in training other de-icers and bucket operators
• Perform end of season maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in de/anti-icing
• Ability to obtain AVOP certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test
