Drive efficient payroll management for hourly staff as a Payroll Specialist in Surrey, BC. This on-site contract role focuses on supporting payroll, accounting, and employee inquiries.

In this full-time contract role, you will manage hourly payroll for approximately 30 employees while ensuring effective benefits administration and resolving shop-floor issues. You'll also handle payroll register reviews and supporting accounting functions to facilitate smooth operations. This position requires a balance of communication skills and detailed payroll experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own hourly payroll processing for 30 employees
• Review and reconcile payroll registers accurately
• Administer employee perks and resolve inquiries




• Track uniform cleaning deductions and support AP/AR
• Assist in accounting tasks as needed

Requirements:
• 3-5+ years of payroll experience, preferably ADP
• Proficient with payroll software and ERP systems
• Foundational accounting knowledge in debits/credits
• Clear and skilled communication skills
• Ability to work 40 hours/week on-site
