The Physiotherapist provides and documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within the scope of practice of physiotherapists. The Physiotherapist will communicate and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team members. The Physiotherapist provides physical therapy to children with cancer focusing on minimizing symptoms, improving function, and enhancing the quality of life for these children during and after cancer treatment.

The Physiotherapist will support patients and families with education and guidance throughout the patient’s journey.

- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum 1 year Pediatric physio experience within the last 4 years in the care of infants, children and their families within a tertiary care/acute care setting
- Demonstrated excellence in communication (verbal and non-verbal), critical thinking, mentoring, coaching and working within an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated facilitation, coordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation skills
- Evidence of ability to facilitate change, foster innovation and model the values of the organization

- Evidence of continuous learning
