We are a busy Health & Wellness Center in Milton. We are looking for a physiotherapist (residents with mentor are welcome) to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and manage his/her own practice.

This position is very flexible and can begin with part-time hours with the potential to increase to full-time as the caseload grows. We have a outstanding base of existing clients with a study flow of patients. Most of our clients are privately insured, and our team members are independent contractors.

You will work with health professionals across a wide range of backgrounds. We provide full transparency into the billing and scheduling. We will book patients and manage schedule.

Responsibilities

- Making assessments of patients' physical conditions
- Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients
- Conducting complex mobilization techniques
- Assisting trauma patients with how to walk again
- Educating patients, family members, and the community on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle
- Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programs
- Preparing and Maintaining current accurate clinical records according to standards set by the College of Physiotherapists
- Documenting assessment results, goals,



treatment, and client progress
- Completing all documents as per the requirements of various insurance companies
- Collaborating with other members of the health care team and makes referrals to other internal practitioners as needed.

Requirements

- Physiotherapy license to practice in Ontario
- Demonstrate the ability to use clinical judgment and perform the physical demands of physiotherapy
- Organized and able to manage and oversee PTAs (if needed)
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a very strong work ethic
- The ability to build and maintain rapport with patients.
- Professional behavior and communication that meets the standards of the Physiotherapy College of Ontario.
- Good time management skills

Job Type: Permanent Pay: From $40.00 per hour
