Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant Lead to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Duties

- Prepares clients for their physiotherapy appointment by welcoming them and bringing them to their designated treatment space.
- Answering phone calls to book patients
- Handling payments and Direct billing to insurance companies
- Assist physiotherapists with the preparation/application/removal of hot and cold packs, removal of electrical modalities
- Ensure the physiotherapy clinic and equipment are always kept clean
- Maintain clinic and equipment tidiness/appearance
- Laundry




- Scheduling front staff and other bookkeeping tasks as they arise

Requirements

- 32 hours a week, 7 AM start time, Monday to Friday
- Experience with Jane App EMR is a bonus!
- Previous experience working in a physiotherapy clinic as a Physiotherapy Aide preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong ability to interact with other healthcare professionals, the clinical staff and the public is essential
