Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and a strong background in the food industry. This role involves preparing high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Assist with menu planning and suggest new pizza varieties or toppings
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet health and safety guidelines
- Support catering events or special functions as needed




- Serve customers directly when required, providing excellent customer service
- Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, particularly with pizza or fine dining environments
- Solid knife skills and knowledge of proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction
- Experience in catering or serving is a plus but not required
