About the Job The Planning and Reporting Advisor plays a key role in supporting AiGC's corporate strategic planning, business planning, operational planning, and enterprise performance reporting processes. This position will help to translate corporate strategy into actionable plans, performance measures, dashboards, and decision-ready reports that inform Executive Team and Board decision-making.
This position is temporary in nature for a period up to 6 months, with potential for permanent placement.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you will help ensure alignment between corporate priorities, operational plans, performance reporting, and accountability requirements.
About the Role In this role you will own:
Strategic, Business and Operational Planning
- Support the development and coordination of AiGC's strategic, business, and operational planning processes.
- Gather and synthesize information from across the organization to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate planning inputs from multiple divisions to ensure alignment with corporate priorities and Government of Alberta direction.
- Facilitate planning and engagement sessions with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain planning schedules, templates, and supporting documentation.
Performance Management and Reporting
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, tracking tools, and reporting products.
- Prepare quarterly performance reporting, including analysis of trends, outcomes, risks, and variances.
- Support the development of Board and Executive Team reporting materials and briefings.
- Contribute to annual reporting and other corporate reporting requirements.
Governance and Accountability
- Support compliance with legislative, regulatory, and public-sector accountability requirements.
- Integrate enterprise risk considerations into planning and reporting activities.
- Assist with scenario analysis, strategic reviews, and performance assessments.
- Ensure consistency and quality across corporate planning and reporting documents.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Finance, Risk Management, and operational teams to support integrated planning and reporting.
- Facilitate cross-divisional discussions and workshops.
- Coordinate planning and reporting activities across the organization.
- Support broader corporate strategy initiatives and projects as required.
What You Bring
Qualifications
- University degree in Public Administration, Business, Economics, Political Science, or a related field.
- Solid analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into concise and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working in the public sector, Crown corporations, or other regulated environments preferred
- Knowledge of governance, legislative, and accountability frameworks preferred
- Experience with performance reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI preferred
Must have a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in:
- Corporate planning, policy analysis, performance reporting, or related analytical work;
- Supporting strategic, business, and operational planning processes;
- Preparing reports, briefing materials, and presentations for senior leadership;
- Facilitating stakeholder engagement and coordinating cross-functional inputs.
