We are looking for a Plating Operator to join our team.

Job Location: Gorham St & Leslie St, Newmarket ON

Pay rate: $19/h + $2 Night shift Premium

Shift time: 11 pm - 7:30 am

Job duties:

· Perform chemical additions as directed and assisted

· Perform duties as directed by your supervisor and/or Lead hand

· Perform daily start-up and shut-down process

· Ensure all product conforms to the Shop Traveler

· Pack product as per the Shop Traveler

· Follow all Safety Rules and Regulatory Requirements

· Report any unsafe condition to the JHSC member

· Prepare samples for Quality

· Complete all necessary documentation

· Maintain a clean and orderly work area





· Follow all Safety Rules and Regulatory Requirements

· At all times set a qualified example in attitude and conduct for all personnel and visitors

Other job duties:

· Provide Support to other areas that have a functional responsibility in any ISO/IATF General procedure

· Provide services to other areas and departments when needed

· Participate in cross-functional workgroups and seminars as required

· Help when requested to work over-time

Job requirement

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must be able to commute to work every day

· Must be able to work the day shift

· Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility would be an asset
