Bird Nason Contracting Group is seeking a Rig Welder capable of performing high-quality welding during our current shutdown. You must have a valid Journeyperson and B-Pressure Certification, combined with a commitment to teamwork and shop standards. Your role will involve close collaboration with both apprentices and Pipefitters, as well as maintaining a safe working workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute precise B-Pressure welding on assigned materials
• Ensure compliance with quality inspections for all welds
• Collaborate with the shop team to optimize workflow
• Provide mentorship and skill development to apprentices
• Adhere to safety practices and uphold operational standards
Requirements:
• Certification in CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015 certification required
• Journeyperson Welder and B-Pressure certification a must
• Proven industrial welding background
• Capability to lift 50lbs and follow instructions accurately
