Join Strive Living Society, a non-profit based in Richmond, dedicated to supporting children, youth, and adults. This part-time position requires experience with neurodiversity, effective communication, and behavior management skills. You’ll engage in a collaborative team to ensure person-centered care and assist individuals with daily tasks, fostering meaningful connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary support in a cooperative team setting
• Implement safety and behavior support plans
• Complete documentation including daily logs and incident reports
• Assist with household tasks and personal care
• Build relationships and rapport in a safe, positive environment
Requirements:
• Class 5 BC Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
• Minimum of 1-year experience with neurodiverse individuals
• Criminal Record Clearance and First Aid certification
• Effective de-escalation skills and trauma-informed approach
• Ability to follow health care and safety plans
