Competitive
Journeyperson wage of $44.25 per hour Additional 10% Vacation and Statutory Holiday pay RRSP contributions of $1.63 per hour worked Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings Measure, cut,
bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines Select the type and size of pipe required and measure, cut, thread, bend, clamp, solvent cement or solder pipe Join pipe sections and secure them in position Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Install underground storm sanitary and water piping systems Follow all company policies and procedures including Trotter & Mortons Health and Safety program Required to complete Field Level Hazard Assessments regularly and ensure apprentices are also completely correctly Responsible for mentoring and training apprentices Ability to prioritize workloads and utilize planning & time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines Ability to work alone or as part of a work crew Ability to complete work and meet deadlines with little supervision Knowledge of current Plumbing Code Plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair skills.
