Hands needed!

We’re looking for a motivated 2nd-year (or higher) culinary student to join our catering team as a Prep Cook.

This is a outstanding opportunity for a culinary student who wants to build real-world kitchen experience and develop their skills with a team that values excellence.

Position Details

- Position: Prep Cook
- Hours: 8–16 hours per week
- Pay: 17.95/ hour
- Start Date: November, Date TBD
- Education: 2nd-year culinary student or higher

Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh ingredients to meet daily kitchen needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and storage areas to uphold food safety standards
- Support Chef with basic food preparation tasks
- Follow proper food handling procedures

Requirements

- Basic knife skills
- Valid Food Handler certification
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail when preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with fundamental cooking and food prep techniques
- Must be punctual,



with excellent time management skills

Kitchen experience is not required. We can teach skills, but we can't teach work ethic.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
