Contribute to public safety as a Building Inspector II with the City of Prince Albert. This position focuses on inspections, permit approvals, and enforcing building regulations.

In this Building Inspector II role, your main duties will involve conducting thorough inspections and ensuring building permits meet the necessary codes. You'll liaison with stakeholders including contractors and the general public, providing essential guidance on building compliance as per the National Building Code and Energy Code. Your insights will ensure that city projects uphold the highest standards of safety and legality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review building permit applications for compliance
• Conduct inspections to evaluate adherence to building codes




• Offer technical advice to contractors and the public
• Collaborate with Fire Inspectors on NBC requirements
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and permits

Requirements:
• Class II (or higher) Building Inspector License required
• One year of Class I Building Official experience
• Valid Driver’s License is mandatory
• A.Sc.T Designation preferred
• Solid analytical and communication skills
