Avana is hiring Skilled Construction Labourers dedicated to enhancing the residential landscape. Ideal candidates should have completed or are currently enrolled in a First Year Carpenter Apprenticeship, performing essential hands-on tasks on-site. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain clean job sites during all construction phases
• Tidy up homes under construction efficiently
• Deliver materials using a truck and/or trailer
• Construct handrails and temporary stairs as needed
• Conduct drywall checkouts and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Familiarity with carpentry tools and practices
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors year-round
• Valuable attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and satisfactory criminal record check
• Must have own steel-toed boots and hand tools
