The Painted Ship Social House Ltd. is seeking a Baker for our Vancouver location.

Permanent, full time; 30-40 hours per week; $25.00 per hour.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 5am and 9pm as required. Working on weekend shifts is required.

Duties:

- Bake mixed dough and batters;
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods;
- Work with chocolate for special baking needs;
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards;
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Requirements:

- Secondary school completion is required;
- Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers OR completion of a college or other program for bakers OR a minimum 2 years of experience working in a commercial bakery is required;
- English language ability is required;
- Must be willing to work on weekends and early mornings.
