As a Unit Aide, you will play a critical role in supporting patients' behavioral, emotional, and physical needs at Providence Care Hospital. This part time role focuses on daily living assistance while helping ensure safety and a well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Experience in healthcare, particularly with geriatric or rehabilitation populations, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Use proper body mechanics and transfer techniques
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on care plans




• Follow behavioral care plans for patient interactions
• Document patient activities per organizational policies

Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Completed Personal Support Worker Diploma/Certificate
• One year of patient care experience preferred
• Experience with geriatric and rehabilitation populations
• UFIRST / PIECES / GPA Training preferred
