As a Youth Worker, you'll engage in direct client supervision and provide strength-based support to youth within the justice system. This on-site role requires a collaborative approach, ensuring safety and fostering an inclusive workplace. Your dedication to youth development and community reintegration will be essential in promoting positive outcomes for participants in the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct client care and supervision daily
• Implement strength-based care strategies for youth
• Develop and lead therapeutic activities and programs
• Engage families for holistic support solutions
• Ensure safety and security of the residents
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Child & Youth Work
• One year of relevant experience in live-in settings
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Demonstrated understanding of youth justice issues
