GFL Environmental is looking for a Plant Operator for afternoon shifts in Brantford, ON. Oversee waste management operations, ensuring secure and efficient processing.

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving client waste, loading and unloading vehicles, and operating plant machinery. A thorough understanding of SOPs and strong adherence to safety practices are essential for success. You will be a vital part of the waste management team, ensuring environmental standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and process various waste types
• Load and unload multiple waste transport vehicles
• Maintain plant equipment and assist with repairs
• Observe and follow safety regulations rigorously
• Report incidents to the shift supervisor

Requirements:
• Experience in waste management is a plus
• Knowledge of bulk liquid transfer systems preferred
• Propane forklift certification preferred
• Detail-oriented and safety-focused mindset
• Ability to lift loads exceeding 50 lbs
