Here's What You'll Get To Do As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care while performing advanced neurophysiological testing.
You Will Conduct diagnostic procedures including EEG, EP, EMG, and NCS




Obtain clinical neurological histories
Educate patients and families about procedures
Operate and troubleshoot sophisticated neurodiagnostic equipment
Produce detailed technical reports
Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams
Collaborate with external health service providers
Support teaching, education, research, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Essential Qualifications Here's What You'll Need Registered Electroneurophysiology Technologist (R.E.T.) certification through CBRET
Graduate of a CBRET-approved Electrophysiology program
Minimum 1 year of clinical neurophysiology experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing exceptional patient and family-centred care
Ability to work effectively, efficiently and accurately in a fast‑paced environment in stressful situations to meet patient care needs.
Effective computer skills and can meet continuing education requirements.
Understand importance and demonstrates ability to foster a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Preferred Requirements EMG experience
University background in health sciences
Membership with CAET (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
Current BCLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
Candidates not currently registered with CBRET and have graduated from a CBRET-recognized Neurophysiology program, are encouraged to apply to the Non-Registered Neurodiagnostic Job opening (Job ID# 24429)
