Insight Global is seeking a Production Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing operation in Burlington, ON. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production setting and has a proven track record of leading teams, improving operational performance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

The successful candidate will oversee approximately 15-20 production employees , ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery goals are achieved. This role is primarily leadership-focused, with about 80% of time dedicated to managing people, production priorities, and operational performance, while 20% is spent supporting employees on the floor through coaching and hands-on assistance as needed.

What You'll Do

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15-20 production employees.
- Drive daily production activities while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Monitor workflow and output to maximize operational efficiency.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance support to employees.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
- Support production floor activities as needed, including assisting employees and covering breaks.
- Coordinate resources and production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Communicate production metrics, updates, and operational challenges to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures, company policies, and safety requirements.




- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to support production activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to support business growth.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams of 15-20+ employees.
- Strong background in fast-paced production or manufacturing settings.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and employee development experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing workflow, productivity, and production targets.

Nice to Have

- High-volume manufacturing experience.
- Automotive, transportation, electronics, metal fabrication, or precision manufacturing background.
- Continuous improvement experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to KPI reporting, workforce planning, and production metrics.
