Overview The Quality Assurance Technician supports the Quality Assurance department by ensuring that incoming components, in-process work, and finished products meet established quality requirements.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in performing accurate, thorough, and reliable inspection work.

Key Responsibilities

· Receive, inspect, and accept incoming components and materials.

· Perform dimensional and visual inspections using Micrometers, Calipers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, CMMs, and other inspection equipment.

· Program and operate CMMs.

· Perform final inspections and dock audits.

· Verify shipment contents for accuracy, condition, quantity, and quality.

· Review drawings, specifications, and applicable acceptance criteria.

· Document inspection results clearly and accurately.

· Communicate inspection findings and nonconformances to the QA Manager and relevant team members.

· Support the investigation and resolution of customer concerns and inquiries.

· Assist with internal audits and other quality-system activities.

· Maintain inspection equipment and work areas in accordance with established procedures and 5S practices.

· Perform other quality-related duties as required.

Experience & Skills

· Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field or a Quality Assurance certificate.

· Three to five years of Quality Assurance or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

· CMM programming experience is required.

· Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications,



and inspection requirements.

· High level of competency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;).

· Knowledge of ISO 9001 and general inspection practices.

· Understanding of quality core tools, including PPAP, FMEA, APQP, SPC, and MSA.

· Understanding of 5S, 8D problem-solving, and other quality-system methodologies.

· A forklift or reach-truck licence is preferred but not required.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
