As an Apprentice Millwright reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, you will support various projects involving machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Ideal candidates have completed their Level 2 Millwright Technical Training and possess hands-on experience in an industrial setting.
This role emphasizes collaboration with Journeyperson Millwrights and learning through mentorship on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to industrial sites across the Lower Mainland
Assist with installation, maintenance,
and repair of machinery
Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
Use tools to assemble and install mechanical equipment
Assess risks and follow safety procedures during work
Requirements:
Completion of Level 2 Millwright Apprenticeship
Personal hand tools and approved footwear
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Experience in manufacturing or mechanical contracting is a plus
Motivated to learn and develop practical solutions
