As a Process Engineer – Modeling and Simulation, you will develop energetic and steady-state models for mining and mineral processing. Your expertise will be essential for process studies, performance analysis, and operator training. Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure successful project execution and plant startups through transparent communication and detailed modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop steady-state and dynamic process models using ANDRITZ IDEAS
Create flowsheets, mass and energy balances for plants
Implement operator training simulators and digital twins
Prepare technical specifications, manuals, and reports
Support process audits, HAZOP analysis, and optimization initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Mining, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering
Experience with process simulation and modeling
Robust understanding of mining unit operations
Proficiency in IDEAS and other simulation tools
Ability to interpret technical documents
