Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Quality Assurance individual, with machining experience, to join our manufacturing team in Edmonton. In this role, you will be responsible for final inspection of high-quality PCP rotors.

Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to maintain strict tolerance standards.
- Machine Operation: Install, align, and secure workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools safely on multi-axis CNC machines.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, drawings,
and GD&T; specifications to plan optimal machining sequences.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily machine cleanings, monitor fluid or coolant levels, and troubleshoot minor mechanical or program errors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of CNC machining experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise using CNC controls alongside standard conversational and G-code programming formats.
- Precision Inspection: 100% proficiency in utilizing precise measurement tools to verify exact part dimensions.
- Work Style: Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced shop environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who possesses strong organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Strength & Stamina: Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Mobility: Ability to stand for extended periods and move around an active machine shop setting throughout an 8-hour shift.
