HUGO currently operates in London, Brantford, Kitchener / Cambridge / Waterloo, Guelph, and is expanding within the Toronto market.
ABOUT THE ROLE The Project Manager would be responsible for managing and coordinating all transition projects in the Kitchener and surrounding area. Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager for Kitchener, you liaise directly clients and will manage a team of stagers, organizers and subcontractors to recreate home for clients, and build the Kitchener market.
WHAT YOU’LL DO Project Management and logistics – hiring appropriate talent to complete the project
Estimating projects and preparing project scope for client
Overseeing execution and outcomes of projects ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, meet standards and completed within estimated time
Communication with head office admin and accounting – monthly meetings and check in’s as needed
In-home visits and communication with clients and retirement / care homes
Measuring of spaces and furniture
Creation of floor plans
B2B – maintaining and building authentic partnerships with care and retirement homes
Social Media engagement with clients and contacts, capturing content for digital marketing




Any additional tasks to build and maintain the business as required
Independent, organized, and comfortable managing your own priorities

Detail-oriented and efficient in both visual and administrative work

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work remotely and independently – ideally lives in Kitchener, ON or within driving distance
Proficient in space planning – ability to create 2D floor plans
Detail oriented in visual and administrative tasks, highly organized and efficient
Empathetic, trustworthy, friendly, professional – able to navigate delicate situations as a gentle leader
Lives the brand values – coming from of place of serving our community with our skills and talents
Experience with and enjoys working with seniors and / or people living with dementia
Contacts in the retirement / care industry an asset
Business minded, resourceful, productive, detailed, problem solver, team player, positive attitude
Valid drivers licence and vehicle
Police check once hired
METRICS Projects managed and executed with a high level of efficiency, accuracy and professionalism
Demonstrates positive exposure of the brand by living the values of professionalism, precision and respect
Positive feedback from clients, team members and repeat business from retirement and care homes
