Support children's growth as a Casual Child Care Worker (PAL) at BGC Okanagan in OK Falls, BC. Ensure safety while engaging in meaningful activities that foster a sense of belonging.
In this role, you will supervise children aged 6 to 12, leading activities designed to enhance their social and developmental skills. You'll also communicate closely with families and local service providers, using Club Vans to safely transport children as needed. Your efforts will help create a supportive community atmosphere while meeting the necessary agency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Nurture and supervise children during program hours
• Plan diverse activities and events for engagement
• Utilize Club Vans for transportation duties
• Recruit, train,
and oversee volunteer staff
• Maintain operational records and compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma, certificate, or experience with children
• Must be at least 19 years old
• Valid First Aid and Food Protected
• Class 4 Driver’s Licence required
• Successful completion of a criminal record check
