Position Title: Regional Manager
Position Type: Part-Time 20-30 hours per week
Wage: Competitive wages start between $32.00 to $35.00 per hour based on qualified experience, education, and personality qualities.

Posting Summary:
Regional Managers (RM’s) oversee the delivery, quality, and continued development of Pivot Point services within one specific Region Area. RM’s provide leadership to regional staff, oversee client services and case management, and are responsible for ensuring the region operates effectively while continuing to grow and respond to the needs of the local community.
RM’s work closely with Regional Assistants, frontline staff, Program Supervisors, Head Office managers, and community partners to maintain high-quality services and healthy working relationships. They oversee regional staffing and team development, support client and family satisfaction, coordinate quality assurance, and help resolve service, staffing, and case-related challenges as they arise.
Regional Managers also take an active role in the growth and development of their region by building community relationships, identifying service needs and opportunities, promoting Pivot Point’s services, developing referral networks, and implementing a long-term Regional Development Plan.

Can YOU work independently, take initiative, and remain organized and effective while managing multiple projects, deadlines, changing priorities, and occasional crisis situations?
Duties and Responsibilities
- To oversee the delivery of services related to client needs, and to monitor/manage client satisfaction with those services within the region.
- To oversee all staff needs and monitor/manage staff satisfaction within the region.
- To develop and implement a coherent and complete Regional Development Plan.
- To promote Pivot Point’s presence within the community.
- Develop and implement the “” (RDP) for that region (with consultation from Directors).
This is the blueprint for building a sustainable multidisciplinary fee-for-service accredited agency outpost in that specific region.
- Plan and implement all aspects of “” within the region (as part of the RDP and in consultation from Directors). This may include hosting “Multi-family Information Sessions”; writing and submitting articles in local newspapers; delivering Agency Overview Presentations to other service providers and government groups; etc.
- Promote and coach all staff members (and community partners) in Pivot Point’s .
- Develop and nurture a , professionals, and community partnerships within the region as defined in the RDP.
- Provide leadership to, and directly oversee , staff training, and performance reviews of each regional team member (i.e., reviewing their ) through maintaining regular contact with each regional team member and by hosting monthly Regional Rounds.
- Participate in informal and formal , in close collaboration with the HR Manager.
- Supervise and support in their case management duties.
- Oversee all existing and consult with Program Supervisors and other Regional Managers regarding quality assurance measures and supports.
- Actively assess and continually develop the range of services available to meet these needs. This may include developing new services such as workshops or new interventions to fill identified service gaps in the community.
- Identify and pursue .
- Actively build and maintain Pivot Point’s to reflect current community partners valuable to the region’s networking efforts and growth.
- Oversee all communications and agency responses pertaining to Incident Reports, and to occasionally provide support to clients and staff where needed.
- Maintain to ensure each department is being well represented within the region, and each department head is actively supporting the region.
- Conduct with families, mindfully developing a viable case conceptualization designed to meet their needs, and provide overviews of services in that region to accomplish those needs.
- Keep abreast of and research in the field related to childhood disabilities/ special needs, and interventions.
- Abide by the agency's and follow the code of ethics of Community Living BC and MCFD.
Qualifications,
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of “Disorders Usually first Diagnosed in Childhood” and relevant comorbid disorders.
- Experience working with people who have behavioral and emotional challenges
- A strong commitment to the philosophy of people with challenges living and working in the community
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative, organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with an emphasis on self-initiative, patience, maturity and tact
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise with families and other professionals in fostering a team atmosphere
- Adaptability and flexibility in working with families with a variety of needs
- Ability to act decisively and proactively in a wide variety of situations
- Ability to manage stress
- Working knowledge and experience with a variety of computer software programs such as MS office as well as Google’s suite of online office programs; willingness to learn new software programs.

- Non-violent Crisis Prevention training (recommended) from NVCPI or Mandt
- Current Emergency First Aid and CPR
Working Conditions
- Regional Managers work in community, regional offices and home bases offices, in self-scheduling routines that may vary from week to week. Some evenings are required at least every second week.
Occasional weekend intake meetings or community service fairs may be required.
- Regional Managers are expected to pay for their own supplies including cell phones, home computers, and personal email accounts (gmail is strongly recommended).
- Staff are encouraged to maintain good mental health hygiene as part of a healthy and balanced approach to work.
This includes managing stress, seeking support when needed, and engaging in self-care practices to support personal well-being and job performance.
