Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting oral health. This role requires a solid understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Document patient treatment plans and progress in Abeldent software.
- Assist with orthodontic procedures and provide support during pediatric appointments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.




- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any patient concerns or questions.

Skills

- Proficiency in Abeldent software for patient management and record keeping.
- Experience or knowledge in orthodontics and pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Previous dental assisting experience is beneficial for understanding clinical workflows.
- Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with patients.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry to ensure accurate communication.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
