Drift Acupuncture & Wellness is a multidisciplinary clinic located in Britannia, Calgary, offering acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and registered massage therapy.

We’ve created a clinic that feels professional without feeling clinical, a warm, welcoming space where patients receive thoughtful, individualized care. Our team works with a wide range of concerns, with a strong focus on pain, injury recovery, mobility, headaches, TMJ, stress, and overall wellness.

We are currently looking for an established Registered Massage Therapist with an existing patient base who is looking for a long-term clinic home and wants to become a consistent part of the Drift team. This position is best suited to a practitioner who has already begun building their practice and is looking for the right environment to continue growing it.

Preference will be given to therapists with an interest in therapeutic, orthopaedic, injury-focused, or rehabilitation-based treatment, although we welcome different treatment styles.

We’re looking for someone who is skilled, reliable, personable, and genuinely invested in their patients and their practice.

Drift provides clinic marketing, administrative support, cross-referrals, and opportunities for continued growth; however, this position is intended for a practitioner who is already actively practicing and is comfortable bringing an existing clientele into the clinic.

More than simply filling available hours, we’re looking for someone who takes initiative, values patient retention and continuity of care, and wants to establish themselves as a long-term member of the Drift team.

Responsibilities





- Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic massage within your training and scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment, progress, and rebooking expectations
- Maintain a clean and professional treatment environment
- Collaborate with our acupuncture and massage therapy team when appropriate
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming patient experience

Requirements

- Registered and in good standing with a recognized massage therapy association
- Current professional liability insurance
- Currently practicing with an established patient base
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and patient-centred approach
- Reliable and committed to maintaining consistent availability
- Self-motivated and proactive about maintaining and continuing to grow their practice
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team
