Here's What You'll Get To Do

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care while performing advanced neurophysiological testing.

You Will

- Conduct diagnostic procedures including EEG, EP, EMG, and NCS




- Obtain clinical neurological histories
- Educate patients and families about procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot sophisticated neurodiagnostic equipment
- Produce detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional teams
- Collaborate with external health service providers
- Support teaching, education, research, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications

Here's What You'll Need

- Registered Electroneurophysiology Technologist (R.E.T.) certification through CBRET
- Graduate of a CBRET-approved Electrophysiology program
- Minimum 1 year of clinical neurophysiology experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient and family-centred care
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently and accurately in a fast‑paced environment in stressful situations to meet patient care needs.
- Effective computer skills and can meet continuing education requirements.
- Understand importance and demonstrates ability to foster a culture of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Preferred Requirements

- EMG experience
- University background in health sciences
- Membership with CAET (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Current BCLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
