Become a Community Disability Worker with Robin Hood Association in Sherwood Park. This role focuses on supporting individuals with disabilities through direct care, community engagement, and personal goal achievement.
As a Community Disability Worker, you will work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Your responsibilities include implementing individual service plans, ensuring safety, and fostering community participation for adults and youth with disabilities. You will collaborate closely with your team while maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individual service plans for clients
• Provide direct care and monitor client needs
• Assist in personal goal planning and community engagement
• Ensure safety by identifying and addressing hazards
• Maintain transparent communication with families and staff
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Experience in community rehabilitation or disability support
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work various shifts as required
