Project Manager
A Project Manager is required to work with internal departments and external agencies to ensure projects are completed on budget and in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITY:

Develop, maintain, and effectively execute project plans throughout the life of assigned projects according to established procedures, channels, and success expectations

Establish explicit project parameters, according to contract, supporting the success of all internal and client team members

Understand and communicate updates and changes back to the client

Promote high standards of professional integrity on all proposed and actual client business solutions

Along with internal departments, create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and associated resource requirements.

Facilitate the resolution of construction conflicts with supplied tender drawings, shop drawings, and all other relevant documentation

Along with Quality Control Manager, define, negotiate, communicate, implement, and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables.

Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate, and communicate project risks.

Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverable.

Keep the Project Files up to date with all approved changes, amendments, and all other project correspondence.

Forecast, track, and manage project budgets,



payables, and receivables.

Responsible for delivery and in office set-up coordination with setup crews and sub trades ensuring project schedule is maintained.

Conduct production progress meetings with production staff while projects are being built.

Attend and participate in commissioning of projects as required.

Perform project close-out duties and brief Warranty Manager on specifics of project.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Thorough understanding of commercial and residential building

Able to read and interpret building codes

Blueprint literate

Provide timely guidance and feedback

Committed to action to achieve long-range goals

Able to build constructive relationships with employees

Use appropriate interpersonal techniques to reduce tension or conflict and gain acceptance of ideas or solutions

Effectively presents ideas, information, and materials to individuals and groups

Adapts well to changes in assignment and priorities

Computer literate i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Projects

WORK CONDITIONS:

Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals

Travel to job sites for meetings and inspections of 2-3 trips per month, overnight stay may be required pending location of jobsite

Driver's license required
