The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Marine Gateway (South Vancouver), is seeking a bilingual (Mandarin) Associate to support a fast-growing advisory team.
You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, productive support to both clients and the Advisor Team.
This is a 12-18 month maternity leave coverage role (with benefits + paid time off) and the possibility of being made permanent*
What will you do? Conduct investment and market research, including equities, ETFs and macro trends
Assist in portfolio monitoring, analysis and rebalancing and support development of portfolio strategies and recommendations
Follow up on trading to ensure proper settlement and delivery
Coordinate and prepare client review materials and investment proposals
Assist with client onboarding and provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details . Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary
Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
What do you need to succeed? Must Have Exceptional communication skills
Investment Representative (IR) Licensed
2 years of industry related experience
Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.
The expected base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000.
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1x base salary.
