In this role, you will support classroom teachers and facilitate outdoor learning programs at DDSB's various sites. The position involves enhancing students’ understanding of Indigenous connections to their surroundings. Responsibilities include working with children of diverse abilities and aiding the teaching process to enrich students’ educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the implementation of teaching activities
• Prepare and organize educational materials for learning
• Observe and document student progress and interactions




• Conduct supervision on field trips and within classrooms
• Support positive student behavior through guidance

Requirements:
• Completed Secondary School Diploma
• Background in Educational Support or Child Care
• Outdoor learning experience preferred
• Current Criminal Background Check required
• Skills in supporting children’s learning needs
