This Occupational Therapy Assistant position involves collaborating with a Registered Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans effectively. You will maintain communication with clients’ families, prepare instructional materials, and promote client safety and engagement. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain communication of session progress with families
• Execute intervention plans based on best practices
• Prepare necessary teaching materials for sessions
• Ensure a safe and encouraging workplace for clients
• Monitor client progress through diligent data collection
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Therapy
• Possess a driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Authorization to legally work in Canada
• At least 1 year of OTA experience preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
