The University of Alberta is seeking a Research Associate for a one-year appointment at the North Campus in Edmonton. You will play a pivotal role in pilot-scale research projects focused on converting agricultural and municipal waste into hydrogen-rich syngas.

Key skills include operational support, data analysis, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities:

- Commission and operate pilot-scale thermo-catalytic reforming unit
- Design and execute experimental plans for syngas production
- Prepare and update technical process documentation
- Supervise M.Sc. and Ph.D. researchers in experiments
- Coordinate with stakeholders for project alignment Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or similar field
- Minimum 2 years on pilot-scale TCR unit
- Expertise in thermochemical conversion processes
- Proficiency in analytical techniques relevant to TCR
