Join Taproot Community Support Services as a Residential Child and Youth Worker in Saanich, BC. Engage with youth aged 13-18 in a supportive, trauma-informed environment. In this full time role, you'll be an integral part of the care team for youth at Youth Horizons. You'll assess individual needs, design tailored service plans, and implement daily routines to support their growth and safety.

Your responsibilities will focus on fostering positive behaviors, ensuring emotional support, and providing crisis intervention when necessary. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and set goals for youth progress
- Teach socially appropriate behavior through activities
- Monitor safety and overall well-being of youth
- Provide behavior management counseling and support
- Advocate effectively for each individual served Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care or related field
- Minimum of two years’ experience in child care settings
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Certificates in CPR/First Aid and non-violent crisis intervention
