We are looking for a District Manager focused on chemical sales with experience in wastewater treatment industry, or related fields.
The successful candidate will work closely with team members to ensure customer satisfaction, and provide exceptional customer support to potential and existing clients. This candidate is required to travel locally to meet with current and existing clients as needed.
Generate and execute sales plans within the existing customer base and assigned competitively held accounts to achieve growth targets.
Work closely with current and prospective customers in the Vancouver, Lower Mainland, and Vancouver Island areas, to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation strategies to drive sales growth. Develop solid relationships with key stakeholders, including plant and facility executives, to foster long-term partnerships. Provide technical support to customers by identifying and resolving challenges, escalating issues as needed.
Engage in problem-solving by conducting system analyses, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing comprehensive training on Cesco products, verifying proper application equipment functionality, and troubleshooting operational issues. Actively promote and support Cesco innovations and technology within assigned accounts to strengthen long-term business relationships.
Must be willing to travel as needed (40%-60%) throughout the district. 10+ years of experience in the technical sales industry.
~ Must be able to review, edit, interpret, and create detailed sales and service reports. ~ Must be able to communicate effectively with technical teams, product teams, and other business groups. ~ Must have working knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology or related field. Travel required up to 40%-60% depending on the time of year and customer needs.
Very comprehensive personal vehicle usage compensation is provided. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Local BC Driver’s license and proof of insurance required by the time of hire.
