Successful Candidates’ Responsibilities

Working with students one-on-one & in small groups in a classroom setting

Teacher Assistants Qualifications

Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff

Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school

Understand and carry out oral and written direction

Work independently with minimal instruction

Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills

Respect confidentiality

Practice professionalism with all RVS School students, staff, administration, parents and public





Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures

Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process

Have strong interpersonal skills and patience

Enjoys working in a team workplace

ASAP

Hours

30 hours per week— 6 hours per day/5 days per week

Wage Rate

$21.05/hour - $30.54/hour depending on qualifications and experience
