This role primarily supports the Fleet Maintenance Manager in the Transportation department. As a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice, your duties will focus on performing repairs, diagnosing mechanical issues, and managing job records in the TMT software. Be ready for flexibility, as some work may occur after hours for vehicle emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair heavy trucks and trailers effectively
• Execute preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
• Diagnose malfunctions to meet manufacturer's specifications
• Keep your work area clean and organized
• Record work tasks accurately using the TMT system
Requirements:
• Enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year mechanic apprentice
• Experience with Cummins engines is a plus
• Familiarity with safety protocols and methods
• Skilled in using various tools and equipment
• Must meet pre-employment screening requirements
