Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager oversees department staff and coordinates the day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance department to ensure all work requests are completed promptly and efficiently. With a deep technical and mechanical skillset in an industrial setting, this role perfectly blends a hands‑on demonstration of technical knowledge with leadership abilities. This role is responsible for performing and supervising a wide range of maintenance activities within a cold storage warehouse environment, including the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and ongoing maintenance of facility equipment. All work is carried out in accordance with company standards to support business goals and operational objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
Multi-site Leadership: Overseeandbuildhigh performingMaintenance Departmentteams across all warehouse facilities, includinghiring and training/developingsite technicians and maintenance supervisorsfor a solid bench strength oftalent.

Asset Management: Maintainmaterial handling equipment, conveyors, sorters, and forklifts.

Preventative Maintenance: Implement and monitor CMMS tracking for predictive equipment upkeep.

Facility Care: Oversee building envelopes, HVAC, dock doors, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Capital Projects: Plan and execute facility upgrades, expansions, and equipment installations.Support management, project managers, consultants, andcross‑functionalteams asrequired.

Participate in building maintenance planning for new construction, renovations, and upgrades to existing systems.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, local building codes, and fire regulations,proactivelyidentifyand address safety concerns and determineappropriate workmethods.

Adhere to and enforce departmental procedures and systems, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), maintenance requisitions, scheduled work, and continuous improvement/risk management programs.

Documentation: Ensure completionofall required departmental reports, documentation, and maintenance records.

Vendor Relations:



Scheduling and overseeing ofon-sitevendors and contractors

Uptime Optimization: Analyze equipment failure data to root out recurring operational bottlenecks.

Qualifications and Skills
Completion of acertified trade is an asset

Minimum oftenyears’ experience in maintenance with five (5)years’in a supervisory capacityacross multiple sites.

Proven experience managing projects across multiple sites.

Working experience in cold storage, warehousing or food manufacturing isan asset

Working knowledge ofoccupational health & safety, HACCP andCFIA regulationsis an asset

Ability to read and interprettechnical manuals

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Self-motivated

A friendly, positive, and skilled attitude

Schedule
8.5hour day shift

Monday to Friday

Language Requirements
French notrequired

Location & Work Arrangement
Mississauga & Halton Hills, Ontario

Candidates must be able to reliably commute orrelocateprior to starting

On-site position, five days per weekwith travel between sites, asrequired.
