Join Extendicare as a Dietary Aide and play a vital role in our residents’ meal services. You will assist with food preparation, provide tray service, and ensure a welcoming dining environment.

In this part-time role, reporting to the Dietary Manager, you will work directly with residents, serving meals and assisting with the setup of dining areas. You will help maintain the kitchen's cleanliness and participate in special events, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Following health protocols and departmental policies is essential in your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals professionally and courteously
• Prepare salads, beverages, and desserts for service
• Set and transparent dining tables efficiently




• Participate in training new dietary staff members
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate is a must
• Previous food service experience is advantageous
• Enrollment in Food Service Worker Training Program is preferred
• Excellent customer service abilities required
• Capability to lift and move heavy items
