Recent Horizon Co-op is looking for a Health, Safety, and Sustainability Coordinator at our Resource Office in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Focus on employee training, policy updates, and compliance oversight to enhance workplace safety.

This coordinator role requires you to manage administrative tasks for the Health & Safety department. You will be instrumental in training sessions, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and assisting in program development. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively will help foster a safer work environment for all team members at the Co-op.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Health & Safety projects through documentation
• Coordinate required health and safety training sessions




• Conduct orientations for all new employees
• Monitor changes in safety legislation and policies
• Assist in incident investigations and corrective actions

Requirements:
• Completed High School Diploma and related certificate
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in an office setting
• Clean Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
