S&R; Group seeks a Registered Dietitian to deliver nutrition care both in-person and virtually. Support residents in two long-term care homes through tailored assessments and nutrition plans.

This full-time position involves working at Lanark Heights and St. Andrew’s Terrace, engaging directly with residents to ensure their nutritional needs are met. You’ll conduct swallowing assessments, provide education, and develop nutritional plans collaboratively with staff and families. Effective communication and strong organizational skills are crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor residents’ nutrition and hydration levels
• Carry out RAIMDS assessments according to schedule
• Respond to referrals and develop care strategies




• Conduct swallowing evaluations as needed
• Lead nutritional education for families and staff

Requirements:
• Must be registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• 2+ years of experience in long-term care preferred
• Transparent Vulnerable Sector Screen required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
