Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Project Manager to support procurement planning and execution projects using SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract

Part time role (1-3 hours/day during core business hours). Candidates must be located in Calgary. Hybrid work schedule of in-office when required.

Must Haves

2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator with a focus on procurement activities aligned with PMI' PMBOK processes

2+ years working with SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract

Experience in Procurement planning , sequencing, and execution monitoring for operational or project initiatives

Experience supporting technology projects in medium to large environments

Nice to Have

Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations

Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams including IT, clients, contractors, and vendors

Project resource planning and participation in project team resourcing

Responsibilities

Develop procurement plans supporting urgent operational and project needs

Coordinate procurement sequencing and capacity alignment activities

Monitor procurement throughput and execution schedules

Identify procurement risks, delays, and barriers impacting delivery

Escalate issues across business units, supply management, and enabling services

Support accelerated procurement cycles and time-sensitive contracting activities





Ensure procurement decisions are documented and compliant
