As a Registered Nurse at Extendicare, you will work closely with the Director of Care to deliver high-quality resident care. Your responsibilities include managing care assessments, supervising medication protocols, and coordinating nursing tasks. You will be instrumental in educating residents and families as well as responding to medical emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:



• Maintain up-to-date resident care documentation and assessments • Order and administer medications per Extendicare guidelines • Assist in scheduling residents' care conferences • Supervise the work of Unregulated Care Providers • React effectively to changes in resident conditions

Requirements: • Valid Registered Nurse registration in the Province/State • Experience in gerontology or complex care preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage care coordination and timeframes • Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
