Become a Community Assistant Day Program Leader at L'Arche Calgary, where you’ll support individuals while leading daily program activities in a compassionate and inclusive environment.
This hands-on role is focused on facilitating the Day Program's operations while providing direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You'll play a crucial part in coordinating activities, managing documentation, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Your work will help build a supportive community guided by L'Arche's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly support the Day Program Leader in daily operations • Delegate tasks to Program Assistants for optimal service • Monitor and facilitate accurate medication practices • Manage daily activity scheduling and transportation needs • Maintain the upkeep and organization of program resources
Requirements: • Relevant experience in disability or community support services • Robust communication and teamwork abilities • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office • Valid Class 5 driver’s license desired
